Who is responsible

What this site collects on its own
Very little. slimstides.com is a static site. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no cross-site tracking pixel, and builds no behavioural profile. Standard server logs record the requested page, a truncated IP address, the time of the request and the user agent, which is what any web server records in order to function and to defend itself against abuse. Those logs are retained for thirty days.
What the contact form does
Nothing is stored. The form on the support desk page opens your own email client with the fields filled in; the message is sent from your address by your own software, and no copy passes through this website.
What happens when you order
Checkout, payment and shipping for SlimTide are handled by the manufacturer's authorized fulfillment partner on its own systems, not on this domain. Your name, delivery address, email address and payment details are provided to that partner at checkout. Northlight Provisions receives the information needed to answer support requests and process refunds: name, email address, delivery address, order number and order contents. We never receive full card numbers, and we never ask for them.
How long order data is kept
Order records are kept for seven years, which is the retention period United States tax and commercial record rules require of us. Support correspondence is kept for twenty-four months. Everything else is deleted on the schedules above.
Who else sees it
The fulfillment and payment partner, the carrier delivering your parcel, and our accountants for the records they are required to hold. Nobody else. We do not sell, rent, lease or trade personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it, or to opt out of any email that is not directly about an order you placed. We reply within thirty days and there is no charge. If you are a California resident, the same address is the channel for requests under state privacy law, and we do not discriminate against anyone who exercises those rights.
Children
SlimTide is intended for adults over 18. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
